Rally Against H8
On November 2nd, we collaborated with Out in Downtown to put together the largest rally in the area against Prop 8.
We brought 500 people to Pershing Square to rally together and energize the movement against prop 8 in the upcoming election. Participants brought their own signs and made their own signs at the park.
Speakers included Robin Tyler, Jan Perry, members of Love Honor Cherish, and Chastity Bono.
The rally culminated in a protest march to City Hall led by the ANSWER Coalition to protest the Yes on 8 rally on the City Hall Lawn.
